First Deputy Minister Alexey Vovchenko participated in the 2nd Employment Working Group Meeting under German G20 Presidency

The delegation of the Russian Federation headed by the first Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Alexey Vovchenko has participated in the 2nd Employment Working Group Meeting under German G20 Presidency (15-17 February 2017, Hamburg). The agenda of the EWG Meeting included the following issues: Sustainable Global Supply Chains; Future of Work; Youth Employment/Quality Apprenticeship; Female Employment; Labour Market Integration of Migrants and Refugees. The head of the Russian delegation took the floor on the theme “Future of Work” - initiative of the ILO Director-General Guy Ryder on the eve of the 100th Anniversary of the ILO in 2019.

Now the Russian Federation prepared the draft National Report “Future of Work in the Russian Federation: humanization, qualitative jobs, effective institutes”.

The key sections of the National Report will be: the economic foundations of the future of work and employment, protection and production security, effective social insurance system, increasing the effectiveness of public employment services, international assistance in labor market development, strengthening social partnership, labor market response to the development of digital technologies.

Moreover, the Ministry, within the framework of its obligations in G20 activities, annually completes the National Report on the Employment Plan, and updates the Russian Federation's Growth Strategy.
