The insured part of the old age retirement pension, the disability retirement pension and the survivor retirement pension grew by 3.3% and social pensions were increased by 1.81% since April 1, 2013.

Pensions will be increased for almost 37.4 million people who were receiving labor pensions at the date of pension re-calculation. The average labor pension grows by 3.3% (327 rubles). Expenditures on the enlargement by 3.3% of the old age retirement pension, the disability retirement pension and the survivor retirement pension on April 1, 2013, will amount to 111.93 billion rubles through the end of 2013. Labor pensions were increased by 6.6% on February 1, 2013.

The increase of social pensions will improve social security of more than 2.9 million pensioners. The average size of social pensions will grow by 107 to 6,024 rubles. Expenditures on the 1.8% enlargement of social pensions and other social allowances on April 1, 2013, will amount to 4.05 billion rubles through the end of 2013.
