31 January 2014

The Order of the Russian Ministry of Labor №768n of December 20, 2013 (registered by the Ministry of Justice on January 27th  2014, №31110) stipulates the list of professions for foreign workers who obtain out-of-quota jobs in accordance with their qualifications. The Order envisages the right of qualified specialists who find jobs in line with their qualifications to find out-of-quota employment in accordance with the list of professions specified by the Russian Ministry of Labor in coordination with the Economic Development Industry.

The list includes 62 professions, mainly managers, engineers, culture and art workers.

Three more professions were added to the list at the request of the Ministry of Mass Communications and Russia Today Television: a program host, a correspondent, and a reporter.

78 foreign workers were hired to perform the above-mentioned duties in 2014. There are 389 vacancies in these areas in the national register of recipients of public employment services. 14 citizens of the Russian Federation who were included in the register of recipients of public employment services have applied for these vacancies.

In the past, this list required approval every year. From now on, it won’t have any time limits.
