Delegation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation took part in the 325th Session of the Governing Body (29 October - 12 November 2015, Geneva, Switzerland). The Session was traditionally opened by the ILO Director-General Mr. Guy Ryder.

Delegation of the Ministry took active part in the work of the Policy Development Section and ministerial experts contributed to the discussions on the following issues:

• Indigenous peoples’ rights for inclusive and sustainable development;
• Strengthening workplace compliance through labour inspection;
• Formalization of the informal economy;
• Outcome of Tripartite Meeting of Experts on Sustainable Development, Decent Work and Green Jobs.

On 9 November 2015 the official representative of the Government of the Russian Federation in the ILO Governing Body, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Ms. Liubov Eltsova made a statement on behalf of the BRICS countries on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
